Loading capacity above 6tons and below 25tons,we called large lathe. We use models by CTK611 series,this CNC large lathe,could boring and turning. This boring could be deep hole boring (Max could bore 13m deep hole)and could be inner hole turning with boring attachments.
Above 25tons loading capacity,we called CNC heavy duty lathe. We use models by CK61 1series.Normally,heavy duty lathe with single carrier could not do boring process,for heavy duty lathe with boring process needs to be equipped with two carriers. Please enquiry for more details.

Novatech CNC heavy duty lathe and CNC large lathe mainly structure:
Machine bed:
The machine bed is a floor bed with a width of 755/1100/1250/1300/1650/2150mm(depends on loading capacity). It is cast with high strength resin sand and made of HT300. The machine bed has strong rigidity, large bearing capacity and good stability.
The guide rail of the machine tool is of the structure of "V+Flat" type, and the medium frequency quenching treatment, the hardness reaches HRC52 or above, the quenching depth is deep, which is conducive to the secondary regrinding of the machine tool.
The internal cavity of the bed body is provided with a "W" shaped reinforcement, which connects each surface of the bed body into a whole, greatly strengthening the rigidity of the machine bed and reducing the stress and deformation.
After aging, the residual stress inside the castings is well removed, which can reduce the release of residual stress, reduce the deformation of the castings and reduce the precision.
The lathe bed is cast with a slope and arch door for the back row chips, so that the chips, coolant, lubricating oil and so on are directly discharged to the chip tray, the chip removal is convenient, the coolant can also be recycled.
Headstock:
The headstock is a monolithic structure mounted directly on the bed. It has strong cutting rigidity and precision stability.
The main shaft adopts three-point support, the front end is fixed, the middle and back end is the moving end, the front and back are the main support, and the middle is the auxiliary support. The axial positioning is located in the front end, so that the main shaft extends backward after being heated, eliminating the influence of the main shaft thermal elongation on the precision of the machine tool. The head of the bed is driven by Beijing super synchronous servo motor, hydraulic four gear; The spindle system has better stiffness and bearing capacity, stable rotation and high precision.
The headstock is lubricated by strong oil, and the headstock gear and bearing are lubricated and cooled by special oil pump. The spindle front end adopts labyrinth and groove double sealing structure, which can effectively prevent oil leakage and foreign objects from entering the headstock.
Turret(Optional) and carrier:
Highly rigid heavy-duty carrier with turn-bored construction.
Adopt servo motor drive, X-axis, Z-axis transmission for ball screw sub-transmission, X to ball screw diameter φ50x10(depends on loading capacity), ball screw end support using large contact angle of the angular contact ball bearing group, support mode for “fixed - tension” way, can increase the rigidity of the movement of the screw and operating precision. The support mode is “fixed-extension”, which can increase the rigidity of screw movement and running precision.
Z-drive adopts Taiwan M6(depends on loading capacity) precision rack and pinion with high-precision reducer, semi-closed-loop control by numerical control system, accurate positioning and powerful drive.
Tailstock:
The tailstock center of this machine tool is fixed structure, and the expansion and expansion of the tailstock sleeve is manual.The tailstock is moved by hand.
Tailstock spindle bearing adopts high precision spindle special bearing, strong bearing capacity, stable rotation, high precision.
In order to prevent slip between the bed tail and the bed body when holding the workpiece, a stop rod is installed on the tailstock.
Lubrication system:
The lubrication of the headstock bearing, the gear inside the box and the bearing is completed by the special oil pump. The lubrication of the ball screw bearing and the guide rail of the machine tool adopts the intermittent centralized lubrication, and the time is adjustable, which effectively prevents the waste of lubricating oil and can effectively improve the dynamic response characteristics of the machine tool and the service life of the guide rail of the lead screw. Tailstock lubrication mainly depends on manual drip lubrication.
Hydraulic system:
The hydraulic system is used to shift the headstock. Headstock four - gear stepless speed regulation, by hydraulic cylinder, solenoid valve to achieve automatic shift.
Control and protection of machine tools:
The machine is equipped with semi-closed protective cover, beautiful appearance, neat and generous. The operating table is installed on the movable sliding door, easy to operate, safe and reliable.
Boring device(optional)
This machine is equipped with boring device, which can boring the inner hole of the workpiece. The boring device is installed on a special sliding plate which has been widened and thickened. The back of the boring bar is supported by a linear guide rail mounted on the drag plate to increase the rigidity of the boring bar. The back of the boring bar also increases the counterweight according to the processing situation to ensure the machining accuracy. The boring bar is equipped with a cooling water pipe for cooling machining tools.
Automatic chip conveyor(optional) and coolant
The machine is equipped with chain-plate automatic chip conveyor, which integrates water tank and cooling pump. The chip removal machine is installed at the rear of the machine tool. The cooling pump delivers the cooling water through the pipe to the tool holder. After use, the cooling water flows into the chip removal machine through the chip outlet of the bed, and enters the water tank for recycling after precipitation.
